Annie Ashdown – Life Coach and Hynotherapist

Annie Ashdown is founder of The Self Confidence Centre in Harley Street and one of the UK’s leading NLP Executive and Personal Development Coaches. Annie is a qualified emotional freedom technique practitioner and master clinical hypnotherapist.  Annie has a diverse range of clients both in the UK and USA, including celebrities, entrepreneurs, business owners,  stockbrokers, bankers, executive PA’s, lawyers, diplomats and mumtreprenurs.

It was after working through her own difficulties that Annie recognized the tangible benefits that coaching can bring to so many parts of our lives.  Following a successful career in film and television, in Los Angeles, New York and London, Annie hit rock bottom in her personal life.  This sparked a journey of self discovery, which  made a profound impact and she decided to change her career direction in order to help others gain confidence, raise self esteem and maximize their potential.  Annie was a judge in 2009 on Britain’s Next Top Coach and contributes to the press on a regular basis.  Her debut book was launched in Sept 2011 Doormat Nor Diva Be – How to take back control of your life and your relationships.

Annie’s engaging personality and real life experiences have made her popular with the media and she is a regular guest expert on television and BBC Radio.  Annie is in talks for her own series.

In addition to her 1-1  client work, Annie works as a trainer and is called upon to design and deliver seminars, talks and workshops for organizations including Nokia, Vertu, Orange, Chelsea Football Club, Business  Link, Google, American Express Centurian, Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, WIFTV, and DWP and in 2010 was the first to introduce a nationwide team of 50 coaches to Jobcentre Plus, helping to motivate and inspire unemployed professionals off the system and back to work.  Annie was a motivational speaker at the 2011 Everywoman Conference for 300 businesswomen, supported by Nat West and Marie Claire.

Annie is a member of the British Institute  of Hypnotherapy, Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapists, NHS Directory, Register for Evidence Based Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy, Association Of Meridian Energy Therapists and Complimentary Medical Association.
