Biography

Having worked as a writer and stylist on magazines including Glamour, Grazia, Q, the Telegraph Magazine and Stylist - where she currently holds the position of fashion director - Alex can spot an emerging trend from a clear mile away.

In her capacity as a fashion expert Alex has appeared on Woman's Hour, Channel 4's G Girls and Model Behaviour and commented on Oscar re-carpet dressing for BBC news online. Although passionate about style, Alex's other great love is tea and a freelance stint writing features for The Tea Council cemented her tassophile status.

Alex is now writing a book combining recipes for afternoon tea treats with a guide to the almost infinite variety of tea blends now available. Her favourite blend is rose pouchong, taken black with half a sugar.
