Biography
Charlotte Watts BA (Hons) DipION mBANT was motivated
by personal ill-health to study to become a Nutritional Therapist at The Institute
of Optimum Nutrition, London.
She then went on to become a second year tutor and Year 3 Programme Leader
there for four years.
In her many years of seeing clients privately, she has had great success
at seeing people address many health problems and become healthier, happier and
feeling more in control of their lives. She firmly believes that we need to
look at all aspects of our lives to improve our health and quality of life.
Charlotte is the
co-presenter on the BBC3 series Freaky Eaters with psychologist Felix Ekonomakis.
She is also co-founder of the healthy weight loss company Positively Slim, offering
on-line products and workshops for positive, effective and enjoyable changes to
health and weight.
Charlotte is the author
of Lose Weight Now! and Top 100 Recipes for Happy Kids.
She has both nutrition and yoga
columns in the NHS Magazine
and is a regular contributor to magazines like Red and Zest
and regularly asked for comments on diet, health and lifestyle in national
publications. She has worked for the prestigious luxury retreat company In:Spa for many years.
Charlotte has been practising yoga for over twelve years and
studied at the Vajrasati School in Brighton (www.vajrasatiyoga.co.uk) which is
certified to 500 hours Teacher Training by the Yoga Alliance. She works with clients in both nutrition and
yoga in London and Brighton
for an all-round body and mind health programme. In this way she specialises in
stress-related disorders, fatigue conditions and mental health.
She is currently working to help the Soil
Association and is a passionate advocate of healthy, natural and
sustainable food.
