Stephanie Meadows is the presenter, cleaner and household organiser
for the series Houses Behaving Badly (BBC1). The BBC chose her after a
nation-wide search for someone who could tackle for the camera the
grime and mess found in houses up and down the country. Stephanie not
only presented the programmes, but she also acted as a consultant to
the series. Stephanie was an enthusiastic cleaner even as a
child! At a very early age she earned extra pocket money by cleaning
around the family home, even undercutting the rate set by her older
sister who was also getting into the act. Since then she has gained
global experience of the cleaning industry. She has employed a cleaner
of her own, has carried out a domestic cleaning and housekeeping
service for families and run her own successful cleaning business
employing a work force of six. Stephanie lives in the Derbyshire
countryside with her husband, two children, two dogs, her horse and a
cat. Living in the countryside makes her acutely aware of environmental
issues, and she is a firm believer in using non-chemical products. When
appropriate on Houses Behaving Badly she shows viewers how to mix
household cleaners from store cupboard ingredients, as well as giving
advice on recycling and de-cluttering. Stephanie is bringing
glamour, sexiness and enthusiasm to the subject, and hopes to prove
that cleaning is something that can be enjoyable. Stephanie has also been a guest presenter for several episodes of the ever-popular BBC1 programme Car Booty. The BBC nominated Stephanie for the Central Region National Television Awards in the Best Newcomer category. More recently, Stephanie has been offered a fantastic monthly slot in Real Homes Magazine. |
