VAL BRADLEY is married to the gardening broadcaster and author Steve Bradley. Following her Horticultural studies, she worked at Challis of York, Cramphorn’s and currently at the RHS garden at Wisley. She has taught at horticultural college and at Adult Education classes, covering topics such as: propagation; pruning; plant nomenclature; use and maintenance; using plants in the home; basic garden design; fruit and vegetable growing. She has written two books: The Complete Guide to House Plants for Collins & Brown (2006) and Step by Step Town Gardens for Lorenz Books and in 2002, Steve and Val joined Peter Seabrook as gardening correspondents for The Sun newspaper.
