James Martin and Mich Turner will be appearing at the Ascot Festival of Food and Wine Race Weekend in a two day culinary celebration that runs alongside racing that forms part of the final days of the Flat season at Ascot Racecourse.

Mich is making her headlining debut at the event on Friday 4th September where she will be sharing her baking expertise with racegoers as part of an action packed programme on the live cookery stage, and accompanying James Martin to judge the Great Ascot Cake Stakes on the Saturday.

James Martin returns for his third year at the festival on Saturday 5th September, demonstrating two of his dishes for Grandstand and Premier Admission racegoers on at the live Cookery Theatre, as well as acting as a judge for the Great Ascot Cake Stakes, which invites racegoers to bring along their own cake creations to be judged at the event.

Racegoers can also look forward to an exclusive three course menu and afternoon tea from James Martin, which he will be serving at Ascot’s spectacular restaurant 'On5' on Saturday 5th September only, where guests can enjoy his British recipes with a panoramic view across the racecourse.

James Martin said, “I’m really looking forward to returning to the Ascot Festival of Food and Wine Race Weekend. It’s a cracking day out and combines racing with the opportunity to try some of the best in local cuisine. We always have great fun at the cooking demonstration and I hope to see everyone there.”
