The glittering Pride of Reading Awards ceremony took place at the Royal Berkshire Conference Centre, Madejski Stadium on Friday, November 1.

Chefs Daniel Galmiche and Antony Worrall Thompson, who both have restaurants in Berkshire, cooked lunch for the 300 plus guests - Mediterranean antipasti from Antony and Costwold white chicken with corn and braised hispy cabbage from Daniel.
