It’s barbecue season and if you’re bored of basic burgers and bangers, you might want to head to M&S to see their new selection of dishes created especially for barbecuing - although they can all be cooked in a conventional oven if the British summer doesn’t play ball.


The Grill range features over 50 delicious dishes, from a ploughman’s inspired burger, filled with cheese and pickle, to a mouth-watering pork belly hog roast with crisp crackling - not to mention relishes and marinades for a really professional touch.


To see what a real professional thought, we asked chef Ed Baines of London’s Randall & Aubin restaurant (and Ready, Steady, Cook!), to fire up the barbecue and give us his verdict on some of the key dishes from the collection.
